​​This artifact is a training manual for Innovative Surface Solutions, a small business out of Escondido California. They are dedicated to improving the service of hard surface care and restoration. They train businesses on how to care for natural stone and tile surfaces.

I was inspired to edit this training manual because it needed improvement. Looking at the original manual, the visual instructions were a bit confusing.  Therefore, I applied principles of design for this genre to develop a design that is easier to read.​, follow, and understand.

The easiest part of the edit was there were minimal spelling and grammatical errors.  The most challenging part was finding clean images that I could use and getting them to fit the design.  I am pleased with the way this edit turned out.
