Editing

Technical editing involves reviewing text written on a technical topic, and identifying errors related to the use of language in general or adherence to a specific style guide.  The editing  process involves revising content, organization, grammar, and presentation of a piece of writing.  The purpose of editing is to ensure that ideas are presented to a reader as clearly as possible. Proofreading focuses on checking for accuracy in smaller details of your work.
